Seems the garden is super fertile, and diverse wild growing ecosystems make for the healthiest fruits, so I’d start sowing all manner of edibles without trying to tame what’s already there
They look a lot older, how much did we jump forward in time between chapters?
I don’t think these are Vera and Linnea. I’m guessing these are Vera’s parents, who naturally look older than her.
